Picked up some new Little Rooms samples from plating today. I am completely overjoyed, wearing one of the new rings and not wanting to take it off.
MOCA debuted their latest exhibit, Collecting History: Highlighting Recent Acquisitions, with a party last night hosted by Happy House, ForYourArt, and Opening Ceremony. The exhibit runs until October 19th and features many previous unseen works from MOCA’s permanent collection.
ps – if you’re in LA, you should check out Ice Pan on La Brea & Santa Monica.They let you choose your ice cream flavor & type of milk, then they make it and freeze it in front of you, while mixing in any toppings you choose.

Tomorrow I am picking up pieces from being plated.. NEW pieces! Finally. The rest of the new line is coming along and it’s looking like everything will be up in the webstore for fall. The updated version of www.littlerooms.com is almost ready to be launched and when that happens, this blog will redirect to a page on the main site. The webstore will also become a more integrated part of the site, overall just making everything more user friendly and in one place. I will keep you posted on that..
B and I are building the set for the shoot and thanks to the previous owners of my house who left piles of wood boards and such in the garage, we need to get a lot less materials than expected.. nice.

I paid a visit to my casters today and felt like I was standing in a fire while taking these photos of them in action, casting pieces for the new Little Rooms collection. The process of casting metal is fascinating and.. dangerous. Thus why I leave this step to these talented peeps.
